Nena Kubu are an innovative five-piece from Doncaster, Yorkshire. Their music is a mixture of modern day dance music and 80’s popular music.
The band consists of John Frost (vocals), John Breeze (guitar), Greg Seaman (synths), Dave Baxter (bass) and Matt Edge (drums).
They were inspired by listening to the likes of Bloc Party, Calvin Harris and La Roux.
Nena Kubu have played alongside numerous big acts, such as The Holloways, Frank Turner, Robots In Disguise, OK Tokyo, Electric 6, and Does It Offend You, Yeah?
They have also graced the stage at many famous/big venues, like The Cavern in Liverpool, and The O2 Academy at Sheffield.
After a few line-up changes, Nena Kubu are back with new material and a new sound that could well see them moving on to bigger and better things…
